Accident date 9.7.18, place NH 216 Kesura chhak, Bhubaneswar.
Description about accident: It was fighting with another bull which pushed this to road resulting accident with one Maruti 800 car. Car is substantially damaged. “Kesu” was severely injured with fall of skin from abdomen and heavy bleeding.
Information was received on 9.7.18 at about 4.30 pm.
First-aid: The bull was managed for first aid clinical application on same evening in with the headlight of a bull-dozer available on the spot per chance.
It left the place same night.
Information was received again after 5 days from another person that one bull with its stomach out is moving in Mahadev Nagar, Jharapada, Bhubaneswar. It was co-related that it is the same bull “Kesu”.
It was difficult to manage to tie it on one place. It was simply walking away to inaccessible bushy and water areas. Finally it came to a position when the local people brought it under control and tied to a road-side light post.
Doctor attended to the bull, washed the pushed out stomach, cleaned the wound , removed worms with all clinical support on the spot.
It was then physically lifted to a mini truck with the help of local people and taken to a Goshala ‘cattle treatment place’.
On 15-7-18 it was operated upon by a team of Doctors in the Goshala. The stomach was restored inside the abdomen of the bull and skin stitched.
Now it is in order. It may take about 15 days for complete cure.
