Look at the eyes of the dog. Few months back, a scoundrel seem to have poured acid or something for which the dog has become blind. The suspected person was questioned. He denied. For such nuisance, Shri Ranjan Kumar Nayak left his own house at CSpur and now staying at Kaling Nagar with the dog. He is trying for treatment. He has been advised to show specialist at OUAT and if need be it can be sheltered at Sijua with PFA for longer treatment.
Irony is, the scoundrel was publicly accused which he not only denied, but called police saying it was baseless allegations against him. I understand there are circumstantial evidence against. The event is 4 months old. Even then I have requested Ranjan babu to file complaint u/s 428 and 429 of IPC and police should investigate. – BS Nanda RF

Rehabitat Foundation took up the matter relating to dog which was made blind, vide my previous posting. My email to AWBI (Animal Welfare Board of India) is attached herewith.
AWBI has since written to Dist. Magistrate and Collector, Khordha and other concerned authorities of Odisha to take steps on our letter. Their e-mail is also attached herewith.
